Looked more like a stuck throttle or something, he didn't seem to brake late, and didn't slow down at all. Maybe that's just because he locked the wheels though.
That big crash at the end was pretty scary, glad everyone walked away from it.
It seems people are trying to stir up trouble in Southampton now, my mates and some people on Facebook are saying that they are getting messages from people on BBM attempting to organise similar riots here. My concern is that this sparks up a fight between the football hooligans in Southampton and Portsmouth, they are always looking for an excuse to fight. Hopefully it won't come to anything, everyone is reporting any messages they get to the police, so the bastards should be getting a wake up call from the police this morning.
Who said anything about alone? I definately know enough people who would be willing to go out and hunt down these wankers, and I'm a wimpy middle class nerd, so I imagine there are hard working people in London who can do the same.
Southampton will be okay though, our town center is pretty much all clubs and pubs with bouncers, and these are Russian and Polish bouncers, big nasty bastards that look like they could crack a chavs skull with their little toe.
If this spreads to Southampton I won't let them burn down my workplace or house without a fight. I'm amazed they have met so little resistance from the public, if a bunch of idiot criminals can organise themselves like this then so can decent members of the community. If all they understand is violence and criminality then that's how they should be dealt with, violently and illegally.
This all started with the ****ing Egyptians, they rioted and protested in the name of freedom and democracy, then everyone started to copy them, and like a game of Chinese Whispers when it eventually reached the UK instead of rioting and protesting in the name of freedom and democracy, we ended up rioting and looting in the name of free DVD players and HDTV's.
I was gutted when Hamilton dropped down, really gutted when Kobayashi dropped out of 7th. I had Kobayashi as one of my drivers and a full Mclaren setup, if Sutil had kept up with Di Resta it would have been my best result ever.
Fairytale result for Jenson, he has really grown on me over the years. He drove a very intelligent race, and once again proved that he is excellent in changing conditions. Unlucky Hamilton, his broken radio combined with an inability to strategise and race at the same time to cost him a potential win or at least a podium. Great drive by Di Resta, and Buemi gained 15 places during that race to finish 8th, so a brilliant drive from him which was largely missed during the coverage.
I would prefer the BBC to drop football coverage, at least the money spent in F1 filters down to life saving technology on our roads, and the drivers don't go around sleeping with each others girlfriends and cheating on their spouses. Motorsport is also multicultural and has equal rights between men and women. That's my personal opinion though, and motorsport is much less accessable than football, so it's bound to get cut first.
Although I am slightly annoyed that the BBC has a million radio stations that hardly anyone listens to, and you have to wonder how much money is being spent paying wages to useless middle management and barbie doll news presenters that talk bollocks at 3am in the morning. I tried to watch the new Richard Hammond show after the BBC announcement but all I saw was money pouring down the drain everytime a fancy bit of CGI popped up. I still like the BBC though, it's just sad that the first things to get cut are sports rather than endlessly depressing and boring soap operas and autumn dead leaf watching shows.
The only sad part about this is how long it took, she tarnished her music before eventually dieing. I'm not being cruel when I say that because I suspect she always wanted to die young and lead a tragic life, rather than burn out and grow old. I just hope her dad doesn't get control of her money and music, he doesn't deserve anything.
I think he meant it makes no sense to risk both cars having an accident and potentially not scoring any points for the sake of a 2nd place in the drivers championship.
The moment I saw modern cars I was turned off, let alone all that stupid coma magic warping plot mechanic thing they have going on. I think I speak for all fans of the Driver series when I say that all we want is a HD remake of the original. No stories, no silly gimmicks, just a car and some impossible missions with a director mode and maybe a bit of online cops vs robbers.
Sorry to bump an old thread, and I know there's lots of haters out there, but I love this game and I've spent a couple of days making a new video of it. Basically it's a slow motion video showing the more beautiful side of the game, something which is overlooked when you barrel along a course at 125mph.
Here is a quick preview, the full video is nearly 7 minutes long and it should be uploaded by the end of the day.
I changed it in the rocket build area, but whenever I changed one SAS unit it reset the whole thing. Anyway I just about managed to get all sequences fired without blowing up, came very close though and I managed to reach 1k in 7 minutes, top speed was 6255m/s.
This is the rocket I used, showing all of the stages.
